The Placement Cell at QMGCW bridges the gap between industry and academia by facilitating campus recruitment drives, internships, and career guidance programmes for students.
Objectives
- To provide career counselling and guidance to students.
- To organise campus placement drives by inviting companies from various sectors.
- To arrange internship opportunities for students to gain hands-on industry experience.
- To conduct skill development programmes, resume writing workshops, and mock interviews.
- To maintain a database of alumni working in various industries and leverage the network for placements.
Activities
- Campus recruitment drives are organised throughout the academic year.
- Career fairs and industry interaction sessions are held annually.
- Students are guided on competitive examinations such as UPSC, TNPSC, Banking, and Railway exams.
- Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) activities are conducted to promote self-employment.
