Administration

The college is administered by the Government of Tamil Nadu through the Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE). The Principal is the head of the institution and is responsible for the academic and administrative functions of the college.

Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE)

The Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Tamil Nadu oversees all Government Arts and Science Colleges in the state. Policy decisions, recruitment, and development activities are coordinated through the DCE.

Governing Body

As an Autonomous College, QMGCW has a Governing Body constituted as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the University of Madras. The Governing Body meets regularly to review academic and administrative matters.

Academic Council

The Academic Council is the highest academic authority of the college. It frames, revises and updates the syllabi of all programmes, determines the teaching and examination systems, and ensures academic quality.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee oversees the financial management of the college, prepares the annual budget, and ensures proper utilisation of government grants and college funds.
